Thank you for taking the time to look at our website.
Anxiety, depression, stress and unhappiness are becoming more common as people are struggling to cope in the modern age. As stated on the homepage, mixed anxiety and depression is the most common mental disorder in Britain, and that is even without considering all the cases that go undiagnosed.
We need more support for those who suffer with anxiety and/or depression. I explained on my donations page that I am an unregistered charity. This will change as the demand for support grows. We are looking for the following to help develop this charity, and provide support that’s needed for people of the North East:
Volunteers – If you feel you have something to offer, and have time to give, please feel free to volunteer and support people suffering anxiety and depression.
Write For Our Blog – We are always looking for articles that are interesting on mental health to enhance our blog, if you have the spare time and would like to write for us please drop me an e-mail and I will let our site editor publish your articles.
Help With Online Marketing – Spread the word and tell as many people as you can about Anxious Minds, we provide support all over the North East and we’re always looking for help with our online marketing.
Fundraising – Advice on where and how to get funding and support with writing bids or any other fundraising advice
Mental Health Professionals – We are always looking for professional advice and support to guide us in the right direction so that we can make a difference. Whether it’s writing articles for the site, giving presentations at our group meetings, or being on the board of trustees.
If you think you would like to help out and support both us and those with these crippling disorders, please e-mail your CV to:
