Our drug and alcohol referral service seeks to deliver effective support to those who have been using drugs and/or alcohol to cope with mental health issues. Aim is to enable all individuals to overcome their problems, live healthy lives and realise their potential. We hope to facilitate this by making positive and constructive changes in their lives.
What we do and how we do it
To access the service you must be:
- Over 18
- Using drugs and/or alcohol, to self medicate mental health issues
- Living in North East
- Attending Anxious minds support groups either in-house or online
We offer the following types of support or referral to –
- One to One support
- Prescribing services
- Detox from drugs and/or alcohol
- Support for anxiety and depression

To inquire about our referral service and request an appointment, you can do either of the following:
First method: sign up for one of our free support groups. You can sign up for these sessions by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or by either joining our Facebook group or adding us on Google+ and letting us know. If you are not in the North East of England, no problem. We also provide online support groups through Google Hangouts, which is free software. You can access it here.
Secondly option is to simply email us at email@example.com and request more information.
