THE WALK WITH ME PROJECT

We all know how good fitness is for you. It has been discussed previously on the site just how critical it is when you suffer from anxiety  or depression.

But, unless you’ve suffered, you don’t understand how hard it is to make them first steps and start  a fitness programme to get you on the road to recovery.

The Walk With Me Project is about making them first steps, and joining in with others in the same situation as yourself. I will be starting my walking group every Thursday, until further notice starting, at 18:00 hours at the entrance to St Mary’s Lighthousein Whitley Bay, Newcastle.

I’d love you to join me. As has been mentioned, socialising is crucial to overcoming anxiety and depression. That is the core reason we have created a Facebook group for you all.

But why not combine both fitness and socialising? The ultimate one-two knockout to depression!
