We are reliant on external support in order to continue to provide our services and reach even more vulnerable individuals who are desperate for advice. We are very keen to get involved in as many things as possible, but need funding to support these ambitions. Taking part in fundraising on behalf of Anxious Minds is not only a fantastic way to have fun or get fit, it also is another way to improve awareness of the importance of mental health.
“I suffer with chronic anxiety, clinical depression and post-traumatic stress disorder after serving 23 years in the Armed Forces. This means I can feel an excessive, uncontrollable and often irrational worry about everyday things. This can make me act inappropriately, get angry, and feel scared & worried a great deal of the time. I know what it is like to feel upset, trapped and alone with scary feelings. I want to help other people and their families who don’t have help and understanding like me.”
Why not help us fundraise and try out one of these?
