Do you want to improve mental health for people in the North East?

Anxious Minds North Tyneside is the independent voice for users of mental health services and provider of support. We listen to people’s views and experiences, with mental health services, and work with other service providers and commissioners to better respond to people’s needs.

We are a small local charity with a plan to improve local mental health services. We are looking for volunteers to join our board of trustees.

Do you:

  • Live, work or understand mental health services in North Tyneside or Newcastle?
  • Want to help improve people’s experiences of mental health?
  • Feel passionate about service user and want to suppot them ?
  • Have skills, knowledge and experience to help us thrive as an independent organisation?
  • Have at least 3 hours a month to commit to this role?

As a trustee you will play a vital role in setting our direction, overseeing our activities and working with mental health providers to improve services. The trustee role is voluntary. The time commitment can vary depending on what activities you get involved
