Our Community Services

Anxious Minds is passionate about supporting people in the North East, our heart lies in community mental health support

For over 10 years, we’ve provided early intervention and long-term support to people struggling with mental health challenges, isolation, and loneliness, helping individuals and families overcome difficulties, rebuild their lives, and return to work.

The charity’s mission is to provide rapid, person-centred care and create safe, welcoming environments that foster healing and resilience.

Struggling with mental health can feel isolating and overwhelming. At the Community Drop-in & Recovery Centre in Wallsend, we believe in the power of connection and shared experience. Our peer-led approach fosters a supportive environment where individuals can learn from one another’s expertise and lived experience, helping each other on the path to recovery.
