Volunteer

If you feel you have something to offer and have time to give, please feel free to volunteer and support people suffering with anxiety and depression.
VOLUNTEER WITH US

Thank you for taking the time to look at our website.

Anxiety, depression, stress and unhappiness are becoming more common as people are struggling to cope in the modern age. As stated on the homepage, mixed anxiety and depression is the most common mental disorder in Britain, and that is even without considering all the cases that go undiagnosed.

We need more support for those who suffer from anxiety and depression. We are looking for the following to help develop this charity, and provide the support that’s needed for people of the North East:

Ways you can volunteer

Anxious Minds Radio
Do you have a passion for radio ? Are you comfortable talking on air ? If you feel that you can create pre recorded podcasts talking about mental health issues - either your own or you'r experiences with people that you know then get in touch.
Anxious Minds On Youtube
Would you like to make Youtube content for us ? Our Youtube Channel is growing fast and we need more people to make videos about mental health to keep our channel growing and to help more people.
Write for our website
Are you good at creating captivating content that people find helpful ? We have 3 websites that need constant new content on mental health topics.
Social Media Presence
Do you know how to grow a social media presence ? We currently have 5 social media accounts and we would like to have more but it takes up a lot of time so if you have experience in social media please get in touch.
Fundrasing
Can you organise an event to raise money for us ? This can be anything from getting sponsors to run a marathon, a walk, organise a coffee morning etc. We rely solely on donations to keep the lights on.
Mental Health Professionals
We are always looking for professional advice and support to guide us in the right direction so that we can make a difference. Whether it’s writing articles for the site, giving presentations at our group meetings, or being on the board of trustees.

If you think you would like to help out and support both us and those with these crippling disorders, please e-mail your CV to: anxious.minds@yahoo.co.uk

Alternatively, you can call me on 0191 262 0305

Thank you Eddie
