Our Approach: Fast, Focused, and Long Term 

We believe in the power of immediate, personalised care. Through rapid access to one-on-one therapy, we guide people towards understanding and conquering their darkest thoughts and feelings. Our highly skilled, multi-award-winning therapists excel at identifying the root of each individual’s crisis, providing bespoke support to resolve it effectively.

In six to eight face-to-face sessions at our North Tyneside and Blyth centres, we offer individualised, person-centred interventions. Whether you’re reaching out for yourself or on behalf of someone else—be it as a healthcare professional, community worker, friend, or family member—we’re here to help.

Our focus is on providing crucial talking therapy to those in crisis, often triggered by life-altering events such as relationship breakdowns, financial hardships, or bereavement. We also offer long-term mental health support, we empower people to navigate their immediate crisis and connect them to our long term support services for ongoing care.

Support Beyond Treatment

Our commitment doesn’t end with the completion of you counselling treatment. We provide long-term support services as needed. Anxious Minds run weekly peer support groups for those who have completed our intervention. Facilitated by Anxious Minds therapists, these groups offer a space for individuals to share experiences, discuss coping strategies, and stay motivated. With up to a year of support available, our peer support group’s help people continue to build resilience and stay out of crisis.
