Anxious Minds is a non-profit organisation founded in 2015 with the goal of improving mental health and well-being in the North East. The organisation offers a wide range of services to the community, including counselling, therapy, support groups, and training programs. We are proud to be a leading provider of mental health services in the region and are constantly working to improve and expand our offerings.

One of the ways we are working to improve our services is by forming a partnership with local GP’s, NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, and ICS to provide a Social Prescribing Service for their patients. Social prescribing is a way for healthcare professionals to refer patients to non-medical support services in their community. These services can include things like exercise classes, gardening groups, and arts and crafts workshops. By providing patients with access to these types of services, healthcare professionals can help improve their mental health and well-being.

Anxious Minds has a wide range of indoor and outdoor support services that we can offer to patients referred to us through social prescribing. Our services include counselling, therapy, and support groups for a variety of mental health conditions. We also offer training programs to help individuals improve their employability and increase their chances of finding a job.

We are proud to be a leading provider of mental health services in the North East and are constantly working to improve and expand our offerings. If you or someone you know is in need of mental health support, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here to help and are committed to providing the best possible support to those in need.

Thank you so much to all who helped make this possible this year. We couldn’t do it without the support of our community, volunteers, and partners. Together, we can continue to improve mental health and well-being in the North East.

Thank you so much to all who helped make this possible x
