We understand the challenges you face
We understand the experiences, difficulties and barriers some people face when leaving the military and transitioning into civilian life. We have lots of Ex-Forces working in each of our services and they can support you with any concerns you have about addiction.
Different Ways We Can Support You And Your Family
We offer free, confidential support both in our local services and online to veterans and their families living in the North East.
1. Talk to Us Online
Talk confidentially to a member of our dedicated armed forces team on our webchat. As well as supporting you with addiction they can help you to access support with housing, mental health, jobs, money advice and more.
Our team are all fully trained experienced addiction support workers and all are trained to support veterans and their families in the North East.
2. Online Support Groups
As well as our online groups, we are working with other veteran charities supporting addiction and you can log on to their groups because we are a partner with SMART Recovery UK. There is a network of online groups to access, from across the UK.
3. One to One Addiction Counselling
We also have a team of counsellors that work on our team that are also addiction trained and most are veterans.
